Tomasz Michalski


 Tomasz Dobromir Michalski received the M.S. degree in electrical  engineering with major in control and computer engineering from the Institute  of Control and Industrial Electronics, Warsaw University of Technology  (WUT), Warsaw, Poland, in 2011. He was a visiting scholar at the Universitat  Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, where currently he is a  PhD student in the Electronic Engineering Department in the Motion Control  and Industrial Applications (MCIA) group. His research activities include  variable-speed, sensorless, fault tolerant multiphase drives and generators,  power conversion and DSP applications. Recently his interests are extended  to nonlinear lumped modeling of electric machinery with MEC and FEM  methods. Tomasz collaborated in many industrial R&D projects with Infranor,  Fraunhofer, Lear,Tecnalia-Robotiker, Sumasa,Lift-Control, Luxiona and other  companies. He latterly cooperates with the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in a joint Clean Sky project. Tomasz also gives courses on Electric Vehicles for professionals at the Catalan training center CREVE.
