Enric Sala Cardoso received the M.S. degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2013. In 2012, he joined the Motion Control and Industrial Applications Group (MCIA) where is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Electronics. His research interests include energy efficiency by means of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms applied to the monitoring and control of distributed systems, and advanced supervision strategies supported by cloud architectures.
