Fabio Andrade Rengifo received his B.Sc in electronic engineering and his Master degree in Engineering with emphasis on Automatic Control from the Universidad Del Valle (2007). In 2009, he joined the Motion Control and Industrial Centre Innovation Electronics (MCIA) and in November 2013 He got his Ph.D. degree in Electronic engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Currently He is working as a Postdoc position in power electronic applications to improve the integration of renewable energy systems to the grid in UPC and Aalborg University. His main research interests include modeling, analysis, design, and control of power electronic converters/systems, especially for dc/ac power conversion, grid-connection of renewable energy sources, and Microgrid application.
