Francisco Giacometto

Eng. Francisco Javier Giacometto Torres received the Bachelor degree in Engineering Electronics from the Universidad Popular del Cesar, Valledupar, Colombia, in 2011. In 2012, he joined on the Escola d’Enginyeria d’Terrassa, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain, as a PhD candidate, where he joined the Department of Electric Engineering, currently belongs to the Motion and Industrial Control Group (MCIA). In 2013, he joined on the PhD school of the European Company for Innovation, Business Creation and Education in Sustainable Energy, KIC InnoEnergy, Barcelona, Spain. His research interests on the engineering field include - especially but not merely -: Intelligent Energy Management Systems, Time Series Modelling algorithms , Load Consumption and Energy Generation modelling on the User Side, Load Optimization on the User Side and signal processing methods. On another hand, His research interests on the energy market sector and business creation include - especially but not merely-: business creation and entrepreneurship, energy market analysis and trade, boosting business and competitive advantage generation.
